Electronic and physical tracing
Greystone will trace an individual or next of kin and; confirm contact details and submit a written report
Further to the trace, Greystone can collect a completed and signed claim form, along with;
original certified copy of identity document and proof of bank account details
If the individual is deceased,
Greystone will collect a completed and signed claim form, along with;
original certified copy of death certificate
original certified copy of the deceased's identity document
original certified copy of the letter of executorship
original certified copy of executor's identity document
proof of estate late account bank details
Section 37c investigtions and recommendations
Greystone offers Section 37c invesigations and recommendations which assist the Fund in establishing the legal and factual beneficiaries of any death benefit, ensuring that the provisions of Section 37c are applied in a manner that is consistent, transparent, emotionally and culturally unbiased, logical and justifiable, whilst taking into account the Fund's rules. Where required in terms of the Fund's rules, we will establish if any spouse's pension is payable.
